Residents of Likoni over the weekend attacked and killed a 19-year-old suspected criminal.
According to police reports, the incident was reported by the father to the deceased at around 9:50 pm.
“The suspect, Abdul Abdullahi Ramadhan was attacked by a mob in Makao Mema estate, Likoni, for reasons yet to be established and suffered serious multiple injuries.” Reads a police statement seen by Baraka FM.
He was rushed to the Coast General hospital where he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
Police say the deceased was a known criminal who has been in the police radar for some time for allegedly terrorizing innocent members of the public within Likoni and its environs.
