The fifth day of the ongoing power interruptions by Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) will see residents of Magongo and Portreitz stay without electricity on Wednesday.
The Wednesday power interruptions scheduled from 9am to 5pm will also affect Kwale town and Kinango residents in Kwale County and Mazeras, Takaungu and Vipingo in Kilifi County.
Those who stay around Kongowea and Beach Road in Nyali will face a power blackout on Thursday.
Friday will be residents of Kilifi town and Kikambala in Kilifi County’s turn to go without power.
According to KPLC, the power interruptions that have been going on since Saturday are to facilitate maintenance and upgrade of power lines to the network; connect new
customers or to replace power lines during road construction.
