Nairobi, KENYA: Four Chinese nationals have been arrested at Kilimani Nairobi following a raid by police officers in the residence.

The four were arrested after neighbor’s complained of the pungent smell coming from their residence which prompted the raid.

The police in the raid recovered elephant tasks, leopard skins, contraband goods, adornments made from wildlife Trophies and meat suspected to be from a dog.

This is not the first time Chinese nationals have been arrested being in the country illegally or conducting businesses without work permits.

In October last year, 5 Chinese nationals were arrested in Lavington Nairobi in possession of radio calls, military uniform, laptops, metal detectors, and teargas canisters. The 5 allegedly operated a security firm without work permits.

A group of 15 Chinese girls were also arrested by Director of Criminal Investigation’s detectives in a brothel at South C in Nairobi following a tip-off by the neighbors. They were later deported back to their country.
