Mombasa, KENYA: Baraka FM fans and lovers of Bango music were treated to a special night of live Bango Music on Friday at the Mdobwedo night.
The more than 9 hours event which started as early as 8pm was held at Shots Bar in Bamburi and saw fans and lovers of Bango turn up in masses.
The event was Emceed by Baraka FM shows Mdobwedo Reloaded presenter Mnyazi Kakinda and The Mega Breakfast presenter Kelvin Jilani (Mtu Bei).
The night was full of fun filled activities including fans and revelers getting to interact with Baraka FM presenters.
The Bango lovers also got a chance to take photos with their favorite presenters on the red carpet, and walk away with gifts and give-aways.
Performances by Asili band, Kaya International band and Ricky melodies saw bango lovers move their hips and sing along the whole night.
Since Mdobwedo’s first event that was held in 2014 at Palm City Grounds – Mombasa Malindi road, the Baraka FM-Fans interaction night has been held in different towns including Mariakani, Kilifi, Watamu and Mombasa.
This was the second Mdobwedo night this year.
Mdobwedo night seeks to bring together lovers of Bango music, which is one of the most popular genres of music in the Coastal region.
