Kwale,KENYA:Police in Ukunda are investigating incidents where two elderly men were gunned down in two separate incidents.
The incidents happened on Wednesday evening and one of the victims 70 year old Mzee Ali Kisuse was shot down by unknown assailants as he was leaving Congo mosque in Ukunda .
The second victim only identified as Mzee Mwinyi was gunned down in Shamu village in Msambeni .
According to Msambweni OCPD Joseph Chebusit who confirmed the incident, nothing was stolen from the victims in the attacks that happened 30 minutes apart from each other.
Chebusit added that police were investigating the incident that has left area residents shocked.
Their bodies were taken to the Msambweni county referral hospital.
