Nairobi, KENYA: Crown paints plc has collaborated with Indian firm Walplast product Pvt limited to provide the increased quality products for the construction industry in the East Africa market.

Speaking about the unique collaboration between the two behemoths of the construction industry, Crown Paints Group chief executive officer, Rakesh Rao said the East African construction sector will hugely benefit from his collaboration.

Mr Rao address to the media emphasized the preparedness of the wall surface to achieve the best results for their paints to ensure longevity and quality outcome.

“Looking at the current challenge such as lack of skills and awareness on surface preparation Crown paints and Walplast products have also taken up the initiatives of creating awareness and skill development for the construction industries. Rao explained.

Walplast Products Pvt limited Chairman Ashok Mehta said their aim is to strive to take Crown Walplast to greater heights and achievements in all East Africa markets while maintaining continuous interaction with consumers to assess their emerging requirement so as to be real and when the needs arise.

Melta said Crown paints and Walplast product Pvt ltd, will collaborate with the philosophy of nurturing business relations and mutual growth adding that both companies are aiming to achieve 1000 meters tons in East Africa region by 2022.

With collaborations, both companies are keen to provide solutions to construction industries and realize that they need to be close to their customers so as to serve them better and achieve a striking balance between affordable price and without compromising the quality for products.
