After clinching the Kenya premier league title last weekend, Dylan Kerr boys failed to reach the CAF Confederations Quarter finals after losing 2-1 to Algeria’s USM Alger in their last match in Group D played in Algeria.

Prince Ibara and Amis Sayoud lent a hand to the hosts to register the victory while Gor’s Jacques Tuyisenge scored their solace goal.

The Victory had USM Alger top the group with 11 points while Gor Mahia finished third with 8 points.

In other Group D matches, Rayon Sports beat Young Africans by a goal to finish second in the Group with 9 points.

However, Gor’s head Coach Dylan Kerr has faulted their loss against Rayons of Rwanda at Kasarani stadium as the reason why they din’t make it to to the quarters of CAF Confederation Cup.
