Bongo star Ali Kiba has finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
This was after he was signed up for Coastal Union FC over the week.
The Tanga based Coastal Union Fc chairman Steven Mguto had earlier announced they were in the verge of signing the singer citing he has passion in music and make a great player with regular practice.
“Kwa kiasi kidogo kuna ukweli wa kutaka kumsaini Alikiba lakini pia mambo haya jakaa sana sawa lakini wenyewe mnamuona naye ni mchezaji ingawaje si wa kiwango cha juu kwasababu hana mazoezi ya mara kwa mara ya kucheza mpira hivyo kuwa katika mazungumzo ni kweli,”
(To some extent there is some truth in the news .Ali Kiba is a good player though not yet professional as he has not been getting enough practice ) said Mguto
Coast Union Fc made the announcement on their Instagram page welcoming Ali Kiba to the team.
Ali Kiba had on more than one occasion confessed he would have been a footballer if he was not successful with music.
It is not yet clear what is going to happen to Ali Kiba’s successful music career.
This comes just a few months after Ali Kiba partnered with South African DJ Sabu who owns energy drink Mofaya.
Ali Kiba had earlier launched his own clothing line King Kiba.
