Sauti Sol hints at retirement with plans to relocate

The leading Kenyan music group Sauti Sol that has beaten all odds to thrive, is set to retire from music industry.

The music group which is made up of four artistes, Bien, Chimano, Polycarp and Savara has been the leading music group in Kenya and Africa doing big in music and great collabos with both local and international artistes.

The group broke the news about their retirements plan on an interview with Mpasho where they officially talked of starting up a recording label which will be up and running before August.

“This is where we announce that we are retiring as sauti sol and tunarelocate at some point. Tumeshafanya kila kitu mnataka tufanye nini?” Posed Bien

Sauti Sol hinted to have signed a few artistes and plans of signing more as the label starts running. Each of individual member of the music group has a role to play to enable smooth running of the upcoming label.

Polycarp will be handling A&R, Chimano the creative part in matters of looks and grooming while Savara will be handling production together with business and tech alongside Marek, their manager, while Bien who will be overseeing everything.

The group has not given clues as to where they plan on relocating to but admitted that they are not completely done with music as they can always and at any time hit back the industry.

Sauti Sol has worked with some of the big names in the industry such as Yemi Alade, Patoranking, Tiwa Savage among many more.
