Kenyan based Burundian singer Jean Pierre Nimbona popularly known as Kidum gave his first performance on Saturday at the Sarova white sands hotel days after being discharged.
Kidum who was clad in an African print shirt was the guest performer during the Easter Saturday music festival which is part of a series of events the hotel has lined up for its guests this Easter.
The award winning hit maker was accompanied by his band and treated the revelers to some of hits like Mulika Mwizi which he features Kenyan songbird Sanaipei Tande,Mapenzi, Hadi kifo and Hali na Mali.

Earlier in the day, the singer got to interact and take selfies with his fans at Naivas center in Nyali in a meet and greet session.
Revelers were also treated to a variety of sumptuous meals that included seafood and Indian cuisine in the event that was graced by the agriculture and irrigation cabinet secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Speaking after the performance, Kidum thanked the hospitality team at the Sarova white sands hotel for taking care of him following the poisoning incident in Burundi which he attributes to his detractors.
“It was a very unfortunate incident and I would like to thank God for helping me pull through , the hospitality team at the white sands hotel and my fans who were confident and showed up to see me perform’’ Kidum said.

The event was part of a series of events held to commemorate Easter that kicked off on Friday with an event dubbed ‘regroup Friday’ , reconnect Saturday,reflect Sunday and Reset Monday .
The event also includes a variety of activities tailor made for children.
