Weeks after making his debut on Showbiz, Mtwapa’s Diamond Platnumz has landed another lucrative deal.
Patrick Gongo Mabeya from Mtwapa in Kilifi county who shot to fame two months ago following his striking resemblance to Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz has landed a brand ambassadorial job with Car and General who are the manufactures of TVS motorbikes.

Before his shot to fame,Patrick used to be a motorbike rider in Mtwapa and according to comedian Eric Omondi , Patrick would receive two motorbikes from the company as part of the deal.

Eric who helped Paul make his debut on showbiz after featuring him his comic video ‘A boy from Tandale’ which is a mimick of Diamond Platnumz’s upcoming album ‘A boy from Tandale’ revealed that they had delayed shooting of the video due to the fact that Paul is a breadwinner to his family and he traveled to Nairobi for the first time during the shooting of the video.

“ Finally Patrick came to Nairobi (for the very first time) and we shot the boy from tandale. He has been here since. Today Patrick is the happiest man because he just signed a one year deal with Car & General Limited as the brand ambassador for TVS Motorbikes. The company will also offer him two of these bikes. Next Saturday Car & General Limited together with Big Tyme Entertainment will be flying Patrick to Kilifi for a well deserved homecoming party…Watu wa Kilifi twaja jumamosi.” Eric wrote.

According to Paul’s official instagram account @the-other diamond, the motor company would fly him from Nairobi to Kilifi and get him in a convoy from the Mombasa international airport.
