Mombasa,KENYA:Mombasa elected political leaders on Friday failed to attend the Mashujaa day celebrations.
The event which was held at Tononoka grounds in Mombasa was presided by Mombasa county commissioner Mr.Evans Achoki.
All the six Members of parliament,Women representative,senator,deputy governor and Mombasa governor did not attend.
The number of people who attended was also small compared to the past events held in Mombasa.
But the security was tight as the police officers kept patrol areas around the venue.
