Nairobi, KENYA: Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has faulted the Jubilee administration’s service delivery to Kenyans, citing corruption in every sector as an impediment to its performance.

Speaking during the launch of his party’s manifesto on Wednesday in Nairobi, Mudavadi lamented that Jubilee government has over borrowed loans in every sector, which at the long run will make it extremely difficult for Kenyans to repay in future.

“Issue of debt is going to be a major issue on how to control and retire it with the coming government,” said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi who is also a National Super Alliance principal, noted that corruption manifested itself in the construction of Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) after the government used more funds than it was allocated.

The ANC leader also asked the jubilee government to stop seeking sympathy votes during their campaign trail, by trying to revive projects yet Kenyans are dying of hunger in some parts of the country.

On the other hand, ANC senatorial aspirant for Wajir Hussein Abdi Barre, called on the government to curb the loopholes of corruption that has led to escalation of insecurity in the North Eastern borders.

Meanwhile, the government has told off the opposition for allegedly spreading propaganda that the SGR project was overpriced by Sh100 billion.

During a press briefing earlier in the month, State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said the project was completed within the set timelines and budget.

He called on anyone interested in the story regarding SGR, to get details from the Transport Ministry and Kenya Railways.
