Nairobi, KENYA: Women leaders meeting at Bomas of Kenya has been disrupted after supporters allied to Jubilee and NASA engaged in a shouting match.
Trouble started when State Department of Gender Affairs PS Ms. Zeinab W. Hussein urged women who were attending the event to back president Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid.
The women attacked each other verbally as organizers desperately attempted to calm down the over 4,000 women delegates attending the meeting.

The meeting’s agenda was to find ways of uniting women to speak in one voice in support of their colleagues in politics but ended up degenerating into a political-party-shouting march.
Kirinyag Gubernatorial aspirant Martha Karua, Kisumu Deputy Governor Ruth Odinga and among other leader are attending the meeting.
