Nairobi, KENYA: Etihad Airways Engineering has signed an agreement with Kenya Airways to perform checks on its Boeing 787-8 fleet.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Jeff Wilkinson, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways Engineering, said that was part of an integration programme for the airline’s fleet.

“We are pleased to support Kenya Airways in optimizing its fleet performance and building its technical know-how through our expanding Boeing 787 heavy maintenance capabilities.” said Jeff Wilkinson.

The agreement also opens up other collaborative opportunities including training programmes.

The airline has other maintenance programmes of small and large checks across other fleets.
