Kwale, KENYA: Two bodies have been found dumped along the Kwale- Kinango road in Shimba hills forest in Matuga Kwale County.
The bodies were found on Thursday around 1 pm by residents who were passing by and noticed a foul smell in the area.
According to Athman Said Matsudo, one of the witnesses, they informed the police, and the bodies were found near Kaburi wazi area a place that many insecurity incidents have been taking place along the Kwale -Kinango road.
Area chief Ali Mwamngobo Matsudo who visited the scene said he had not got enough information about the incident but he alleged that the bodies were ferried and dumped at the area after being killed in another area.
Police who visited the scene said they were yet to identify the bodies since no documents nor clothes were found.
This is the first incident to be witnessed this year after a number of insecurity incidents of the same nature were witnessed over the past years.
