President William Ruto directed relevant ministries to carry out an audit of businesses affected by looting and destruction in 30 days.
” Obtain and verify data to facilitate appropriate government action within 30 days”, he said.
He said these while announcing a second batch of cabinet secretaries from State House on Wednesday.
Hundreds of businesses were looted or burnt to ashes in several parts of the country including Nairobi, Mombasa and Machakos as protests rocked the country leading to losses of millions of shillings to traders.
