A man has been charged in a Mombasa court for calling his female neighbour a prostitute.
Appearing before Mombasa Senior Resident Magistrate David Odhiambo, the accused, Salim Mohamed from Likoni is said to have called his neighbour, Linda Jerita a prostitute.

He pleaded not guilty to charges of using offensive words in a public place with intent to cause a breach of peace.
He was released on a sh.50,000 bond.
