Onesmus Kyatha is the new Mombasa County Commissioner after swapping with Gilbert Kitiyo who will head to Mandera County.
In the new re-shuffle announced by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, Kilifi County will also be getting a new Commissioner, Olaka Kutswa who has been transferred from Nandi County.
Meanwhile, Mathias Mbogai Rioba has been appointed as County Commissioner Tana River County.
“I have transferred to various stations across the country 98 Deputy County Commissioners and appointed 84 new Deputy County Commissioners,” read the statement from CS Matiang’i.
CS Matiang’i announced the transfers and appointments at the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday with the changes taking effect immediately.
