Nairobi,KENYA:The Independent electoral and boundaries commission on Thursday cancelled a meeting that was to be held with presidential candidates whose names are in the ballot ahead of the October 26th presidential polls rerun.
“Today’s 2.30pm meeting with presidential candidates has regrettably been rescheduled. We will update” The IEBC tweeted.
On Wednesday,the IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati called for a meeting with all the presidential candidates to forge a way forward just hours after one of the commissioners Roselyne Akombe resigned and traveled to the United States.
