Angry mob on Thursday morning lynched a suspected thug alias ‘Hassan’ in Likoni, Mombasa County following a spate of robbery incidents.
He was cornered by the mob who accused him of committing crimes in Buffalo, Majengo Mapya, Dudus and Celtel areas before they descended on him with crude weapons.
According to a news source, the deceased was on the run for sometime after abducting a school girl in 2022 before showing up after releasing her.
The suspected robber allegedly has pending robbery with violence cases in court.
“Him together and his elder brother namely “Solo” have been on a list of wanted suspects”, says the source.
