Bandari crashed defending Champions Tusker 2-1 at Mbaraki stadium on Sunday and ended the breweries unbeaten run.

Two first half goals from Uganda forward Umar Kasumba and Andrew Juma were enough to hand Robert Matano’s side their first defeat of the season after winning six games in a row.

After suffering yet another league defeat at the hands of Posta Rangers in a game that was ultimately decided by a score of 1-3, Bandari entered this encounter with the expectation of putting forth a stronger performance at their home ground.

Antony ‘Modo’ Kiman’s charges are now back to winning ways having failed to secure a win in their last five outings of the league collecting just two points.

Despite the loss, Tusker are still top of the table with 18 points after seven matches while bandari have moved to 10th place with 8 points.

Elsewhere, Bidco united destroyed AFC Leopards 4-1 in another league match on Sunday as Gor Mahia collected a comfortable three points after beating Posta Rangers 2-0.
