Police in Changamwe Mombasa County have launched a manhaunt for three men gang that attacked and robbed a female officer.
The thugs armed with machetes, attacked the cop on Tuesday 5am as she was leaving her residence in Magongo.
According to a police report, the officer was injured on her arm and head after the thugs slashed her with the machete.
They also stole her handbag which contained her police uniform- berret, name tag, Ceremonial belt and other personal items.
The cop was still admitted at Chaani medical center by the time of going to the press.
