Juma Omar was allegedly kicked hard in the abdomen when he confronted his colleague to hand him his 20 shillings.
A friend who was driving a car had handed them a sh. 100 note and asked them to share among five bodabodas.
However, the suspect only identified as Alex, refused to give the deceased his share claiming that Omar owed him sh. 20 .
“We were to be given sh. 20 each but Alex refused to give Omar his share because of a debt he claimed he owed him ”said a witness.
According to the witness, Omar was infuriated with Alex’s decision which degenerated to a harsh exchange of words.
The two left heading to Kiwerera area but did not come back something that left their colleagues suspicious.
Omar is said to have been found writhing in pain on the ground while Alex’s whereabouts were unknown.
Likoni OCPD Jane Munywoki told baraka fm that Omar’s body had no signs of physical injury.
“ Investigations on the matter are going on including a postmortem report then we will take legal action”said Munywoki.
