A 40-year-old male cook has committed suicide at Kambe Mixed Secondary School in Rabai, Kilifi County.
According to eyewitnesses, his body was found dangling inside the school compound
According to Kambe location Chief Harrison Mtsonga, the cook (name withheld) had just reported for duty before he committed suicide
Mkambe suspects the deceased was troubled by family issues.
“There was no issue between him and the school. We suspect family issues pushed him to end his life,” He told Baraka FM on phone.
He has left behind four children including one who is a student at the School.
Police arrived at the scene and removed the body.
