Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa has been fired.
In the latest cabinet reshuffle, Education CS Ambassador Amina Mohammed will be taking over as the sports CS while Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) chair George Magoha has been nominated Education CS.
In the executive order issued from State House on Friday morning, the following Principal Secretaries have also been re-assigned:
Susan Mochache will now be the Health PS; Ali Noor Ismail, PS State Department of Cooperatives; Ibrahim Mohamed, PS State Department of Environment and Forestry; Peter Kiplagat Tum, PS Labour; Susan Koech, PS Wildlife and Margaret Mwakima will now be PS East African Community Affairs.
Fatuma Hirsi has been sacked as Principal Secretary.
