President Uhuru Kenyatta has congratulated Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari after being re-elected as the Nigerian president.
President Kenyatta through his twitter handle, sent a message of good will to Nigeria president elect Muhammadu Buhari.
“Congratulations Muhammadu Buhari on your re-election for a second term as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
“Your victory is a clear demonstration of the trust and confidence the people of Nigeria have in your ability to lead the country to greater heights of progress,” added President Uhuru.
Buhari, 76 years old, was re-elected to lead Nigeria for another term after defeating his rival, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar by over 4 million votes.
Nigeria election was postponed on 16th February just 5 hours before election, and was conducted on Saturday.
