The state has opposed the release of Joyce for fears that she might harm her other two children therefore being deemed unfit to mother her children.

It has also requested the court that the children’s officer be given time to conduct interviews with both parties before issuance of bond is considered.

The accused will be detained at Shimo la Tewa prison awaiting pre-bill report from the probation officer.
