Mombasa, KENYA: The Kenya Girl Guide National cup competition is ongoing in Mombasa.
The competition which kicked off on Monday registered a number of guides from different schools within the country who have been categorized into groups and are being tested on skills such as team work, survival skills and discipline
The competition was officially flagged off on Monday at the Shanzu Transitional Workshop for Disabled Young Women by Kenya Girl Guide Chief Commissioner Jennifer Karina accompanied by Chief Education Officer, Helen Mutai, Training Commissioner, Ann Gatende among others.
During her speech, Jennifer Karina lauded the guides’ parents and guardians who allowed their daughters to take part in the competition.
The competition is set to end tomorrow where winners will be announced.
