Dennis Itumbi urges Jacque Maribe to tell detectives everything

Secretary of state house digital innovation Dennis Itumbi has come out in support of his friend Jacque Maribe.

In a lengthy Facebook post-Dennis Itumbi disclosed that he has spoken with the TV anchor and had agreed to disclose everything she knows surrounding the death of Monica Kimani where her fiancée Joseph Kinyua is the main suspect.

“Let me comment on the issues facing my good friend Jacque Maribe. I have spoken to her and she will obviously tell her story to the police. She will tell her story. I have not asked for details; those details belong to detectives am sure she will narrate what she knows and is sure about. From where I sit Jacque fell in love with a guy that connected with her whole being,” read part of Itumbi’s lengthy post.

This was after Jacque fiancee Joseph Irungu alias Jowie was charged with the death of 28-year-old Monica Nyawira Kimani who was found with her throat slit at her apartment in Kilimani last week.

On Thursday, detectives handling the case impounded Maribe’s vehicle a Toyota Allion saloon vehicle and dusted it moments after Jacque presented herself to the Kilimani Police station for questioning.

Paul Ngarana Kimani the father to the late Monica Kimani who is a bishop at Rebuilding Apostolic Mission church has stated that he has forgiven her daughter’s killer.

“I have forgiven the killer. We had news that he wanted to commit suicide by shooting himself but I pray that he doesn’t die before he gets saved,’ Paul stated speaking to People’s Daily paper.

Itumbi had been alleged to be having an affair with the TV girl after he sent her a birthday cake on a live broadcast at Citizen Tv studio and a sweet message to her on his Facebook page.

Monica Kimani’s burial is scheduled on Friday at Gilgil after a requiem mass at Happy Valley grounds on Thursday.
