Police in Bungoma have arrested three brothers from Muyekhe village, Kabuchai constituency, for allegedly cutting off their sister’s lover’s genitals and killing him.
The three, are said to have committed the act on Sunday night, after they met the deceased who had gone to visit his girlfriend, their sister.
The suspects are said to have been infuriated with the fact that the deceased, Boniface Nyongesa,24, was dating their form two sister, claiming it was interfering with her studies.
The body of Nyongesa was found a few meters from the suspects’ home.
Bungoma County Commissioner, James Kiandaa, said the brothers will be taken to court once probe is complete.
The incident happened a day after a woman from Buema village in Kanduyi allegedly killed her husband and mutilated his genitals.
