Nairobi, KENYA: Kenya’s Harambee Starlets will take to Equatorial Guinea a slim advantage when the two sides lock horns on Saturday in the return leg fixture of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Starlets made count home turf by beating Guinea 2-1 in the first leg of the encounter staged at the Kenyatta stadium, Machakos on Wednesday thanks to two goals apiece from substitute Esse Akida and Teresa Engesha.

Equatorial Guinea took the lead in the 38th minute through Jade Boho Sayo only for Engesha to level the score before the break and Akida would then seal the victory four minutes from time.

The results mean Starlets will need any draw or win on Saturday to qualify for the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations to be held in Ghana in September.
