Mombasa,KENYA:The director of public prosecutions Noordin Haji has ordered a probe into the deadly patel dam in Nakuru county that broke on Wednesday evening leaving 44 people injured and more than 40 people missing.
According to a tweet from the office of the Director of public prosecutions on Friday morning the DPP ordered Boinett to forward to him the result in 14 days .

This comes just after officials from the Water resources management authority claimed that all the 7 dams at the Patel coffee estates limited were illegal.
On Thursday , the office of the Nakuru county stated that a team had been dispatched to discharge one of the 7 dams in the farm to avert another tragedy.
“ One of the dams will have to be discharged to avoid disaster .A technical team comprising of engineers from the National and county government water departments are working to discharge the water safely.In the meantime ,Waterways have been opened to discharge water from that dam,A village near that dam has been evacuated “ The office of the Nakuru county governor said in a statement.
