NRG Radio who are the official organizers of the Rick Ross concert slated to go down on 28th April have refuted word going round that the organizers were struggling to meet his outrageous demands before he can perform.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the radio station says that Rick Ross was indeed going to perform on the 28th.
“NRG wave is urging the public to disregards the Rick Ross rider doing rounds online ahead of the concert scheduled for 28th April at the carnivore.” The radio said in a statement.
“The article misrepresents the terms of the contract we signed with the management team.Rick Ross is ready to meet boss and ballers at Carnivore for a mega boss party with Rozay at the second edition of the NRG WAVE.” The statement added
Reports that surfaced on Tuesday indicated that the highly anticipated concert by Maybach music president Rick Ross is currently hanging in the air.
According to sources close to the rapper, Rickross has demanded 30 air tickets,10 of which should be first class and three entire floors of five-star rooms for his entourage, a presidential suite for himself with round the clock services of a butler and chef.
To ease his movement once he lands in Kenya, the Rick Ross management is said to have demanded a helicopter, four tinted vans being driven by licensed chauffeurs and a shutdown of two major roads near the concert venue.
In addition, Rick Ross is said to have demanded 1500 fresh towels and 1500 bottles of premium alcohol and 200 bottles of lemon water.
Rick Ross is said to have demanded that no recording of his concert.
His fans have already started purchasing tickets for the event which are are going for a price of sh.3000 per person, 10,000 for a group of four and 9,000 for VIP.
This is low compared to the tickets of the Mombasa rocks concerts that was graced by American RnB star Chris Brown where tickets were going for sh 10,000 for regular, sh 20,000 for the VIP and sh 50,000 for the VVIP.
