Kenya climbs one spot in FIFA Rankings

Nairobi, KENYA: National men’s soccer team Harambee Stars has climbed one spot in the latest World football FIFA Rankings.

According to the latest Rankings released by the World governing body on Thursday, Kenya is placed in position 105 from 106 it held in February.

Kenya remain second in the Eastern and Central African region CECFA behind leaders Uganda who sits 78th globally while Rwanda come third at position 127 in the world.

Tunisia remains the top African country on 23rd position, followed by Senegal on 27th and DR Congo on 39th.

The Top 5 in the rankings remained the same with World Cup holders Germany in top spot, followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.

The next edition of the rankings will be released on April 12, 2018.
