FKF launches Sh. 75m kitting deal for national teams

Nairobi, KENYA: Football Kenya Federation FKF on Monday signed a three year deal with Mafro Sports, which will see the National teams kitted by the Singapore based apparel and general sports’ equipment company.

The Sh.75m contract will see Mafro Sports provide 600 pieces to each national team with the home kit being Red, white for away games and green for neutral.

Fans will get the replica jerseys from the outlets once the national teams are supplied with on June, with Harambee Stars expected to first use the kit when they welcome Angola in the international friendly match scheduled for June 10.

Meanwhile, Football Kenya Federation FKF will reap from the deal as it will get paid for the national teams to use the products from the company.

Harambee Stars and other national soccer teams have been using Uhlsports as the shirt sponsors since the current regime took power in 2016 though the deal until to date remain scanty.
