Two women were on Wednesday arrested in Likoni, Mombasa County while in possession of marijuana.
The two were arrested at a house in Ujamaa area, Shika Adabu.
Confirming the incident, area Police Commander Timothy Muasya said the police also confiscated 1650 sticks of bhang.
He said the bhang nabbed was worth over one million shillings.
In a separate incident, police nabbed 731kg of bhang worth sh.21 million at a house in Kilifi County.
The bhang was nabbed at a house in Mkomani area, Kilifi North.
Area OCPD George Madoyu said one person was arrested and will be arraigned in court.
He said the arrest and confiscation of the bhang was a result of a tip-off from the public of a house being used to store bhang.
