The community should work with the government to end drug trafficking and addiction in the country.

Speaking in Mombasa while visiting the Miritini Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, the spouse of the Deputy President Dorcas Gachagua said cooperation from the community will help in the war against drugs.

Dorcas also encouraged the youth suffering from addiction to seek treatment saying they will get support from the government.

“Especially here in the coast, the biggest problem we are having are those hard drugs. We are looking into ways to speak to them and take them to rehab. Where they come from recovery, go for vocational training after which they will be connected to jobs,” said Pastor Dorcas Gachagua.
