Two men have been arrested in Kampala, Uganda, for allegedly raping a fellow man.

The two suspects, aged 23 and 18, are said to have lured and raped a 19-year-old man at a residence in Kampala.

One of the suspects is said to have befriended the victim with claims of getting him a better-paying job than the one he had at a local salon in Makindye, Kampala.

The suspect later invited the victim to his home, which he obliged

“The victim said that the suspect told him that he should spend the night at his home so that they travel together early in the morning,’’ Police told a Ugandan newspaper.

“The victim said that the suspect showed him where he would sleep at night. He said it was the same bed where the suspect was also going to sleep. While in the house, another man visited and they wrestled him (the victim) down and sodomized him in turns,” added the police.

The 19-year-old says he was later asked to leave without even getting the promised job.

He said he took a month to report the matter because he was in a state of shock and also embarrassed

The incident was reported on Saturday.

“We are yet to determine whether he was sexually assaulted or not. We have been told that the surgeon is able to find injuries after that period of time. The forensic experts are on the way to visit the scene and extract evidence that might help in the investigation,” he said.
