The High Court has dismissed a petition that was challenging the win of Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung’aro and his Deputy Governor Flora Mbetsa in the August 2022 general elections.
The High Court in Malindi ruled that the evidence submitted was not enough to prove that the election was marred with malpractices.
Lady Justice Anne Ongijo Adwera gave the ruling virtually on Thursday.
The three petitioners will also be the ones to cover the cost of the suit set at six million shillings which will be shared equally among the respondents.
