Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung’aro has fired two senior staff at the County.
In an official communique from the county, dated Wednesday 9th November 2022, Governor Mung’aro terminated the services of the Chief of Staff and sent the County Secretary on terminal leave pending the expiration of his contract.
“This is to notify the public that His Excellency the Governor has made staffing made staffing changes in his executive office,” read part of the communique.
Martin Mwaro takes over as acting County Secretary from Arnold Mkare who was sent on terminal leave pending the expiration of his contract.
“In the office of the Chief of Staff, Carol Kalume’s services in this role have been terminated and she has handed over her roles henceforth. The new Chief of Staff will be announced as soon as possible,” read the communique.
