Basketball legend Michael Jordan’s jersey will be auctioned in September.

The jersey, which he wore during game one of the 1998 NBA finals, is estimated to fetch around $3m-$5m (sh.352.2m – sh.597m).

The number 23 jersey, worn by Jordan during his last championship win in the league, will be part of ‘INVICTUS’, a special two-part curated collection of some of the finest sports artifacts to come to the market in recent years.

The auction will also feature a variety of athletes who have had a lasting impact on their respective sports including Tennis champion Roger Federer, boxing champ Muhammad Ali and Canadian ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky.

Michael’s ‘last dance’ jersey (to be auctioned) was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated following the NBA finals.
