WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon retires at 77

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Chairman and CEO Vincent Kennedy McMahon has retired from the world of wrestling.

Through his official Twitter page, Vince McMahon thanked the WWE universe while announcing his retirement.

McMahon, a professional wrestling promoter, debuted in the wrestling world as a commentator in 1969 then later as a wrestler in 1998.

McMahon’s retirement comes amid allegations of sexual harassment.

His daughter Stephanie McMahon, also a former wrestler, was appointed to serve as interim CEO and Chairwoman.
