Manchester United has confirmed current Ajax manager Eric Ten Hag as their permanent manager.
Ten Hag takes over from interim manager Ralf Rangnick who will advance into consultative position in the club.
The club however has also laid out the structure of his contract with details that he has signed until June 2025 plus option until June 2026.
Statement from the head of recruitment at the Manchester based club John Murtough: “We were deeply impressed with his long-term vision for returning Man United to the level we want to be competing at, and his drive and determination to achieve that”.
Erik ten Hag says: “It’s a great honour to be appointed manager of Man Utd, I’m hugely excited”.
