Nassir beats Shahbal in latest gubernatorial opinion polls

Mvita Mp would be the new Mombasa Governor if elections were held today.

That is according to a research poll by infotrak released on Sunday.

In the polls, Abdulswamad got 42 percent of support from the locals interviewed in the county.

Mombasa businessman Suleiman Shahbal came second with a total of 18 per cent.

Former Mombasa senator Hassan Omar who vying on the same ticket got 5 per cent. Kisauni mp Ali Mbogo got total 4 pe rcent.

Changamwe MP Omar Mwinyi and Mombasa county deputy governor William Kingi each got I percent.

However, 21 percent of those interviewed said they are undecided.

At the same time, Asha Mohammed Hussein would still remain the woman representative if elections were to be held today.

In the research poll, Asha got 17 percent of the total votes cast.

Zam zam Mohamed would be the second with 10 percent of the total votes cast.

However, 58 perscent said they were undecided
