Seven people died on Saturday afternoon following a grisly road accident at Mackinon along Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
According to eye witnesses, the accident involved two saloon cars heading on different directions. One of the cars caught fire with passengers inside.
One of the vehicles had a Tanzanian number plate.
A father, his wife and two children driving a BMW lost their lives following the accident.
On Wednesday this week, two people died after a Dreamline bus was involved in an accident on the Nairobi Mombasa highway in Manyani, Voi.
The driver of the bus was among the dead together with one passenger.
Several people were injured in the crash. The Bus was heading to Mombasa from Nairobi.
