Acting Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu has warned NMS staff against laziness and corruption saying her administration will not condone the vices.

Kananu ordered the County staff to double their efforts in ensuring that Nairobi residents get better quality services.

“I want all county staff to focus on serving Nairobians. We have a great task and we should put our people at heart before anything else. I will not condone corruption and laziness,” she said.

Speaking after chairing a cabinet meeting, Kananu said all NMS staff will be forced to sign performance contracts.

Kananu asked all county staff, Executive members, to go to the ground and ensure all projects are done to the satisfaction of locals.

“At the end of this financial year, you will be gauged on how effectively you have been able to deliver on your commitments,” she said.

The acting Governor signed the 2021/2022 performance contracts.
