Five cops to face murder charge of Mombasa Tout

Five police officers accused of involvement in the murder of Caleb Ospino Otieno at the Changamwe police station in Mombasa are expected to appear in court on Wednesday (Today).

The Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA )has confirmed that the five will be charged with murder.

IPOA chairperson Anne Makori said they launched an investigation into the death of Ospina before deciding to charge the five cops.

According to an IPOA investigation, the deceased who was a tout was arrested in September 2018 and died from injuries caused by a blunt object.
