After two and a half months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mama Ngina waterfront will be reopened to the public.
According to a statement from Tourism Principal Secretary Safina Kwekwe, the park is set to be reopened on 1st June, 2021.
Activities to be carried out in the park will however be limited to health exercises ie walking, jogging, running and cycling.
“All COVID-19 health protocols should be strictly adhered to by every user. You are requested to comply with guidance and directions given by the waterfront staff,” read the statement in part.
The park will be opened during the morning and evening hours from 6 – 9am and 4:30 – 7pm.
