A man on Thursday drowned while searching for the body of friend who drowned on Wednesday at Mwilulu area near Mariakani barracks in Kilifi County.
According to an eye witness, the deceased, 30-year-old Kenga Kiti drowned while searching for 25-year-old Mwalimu Kiti.
The witness, James Fondo, said Mwalimu Kiti was herding cows on Wednesday and decided to swim when he drowned.
Kaloleni OCPD Ezekiel Chepkwony confirmed the incidents saying the police were leading operations to search for the bodies.
